The Serbian confirms his participation in a tournament that will not have the presence of Rafa Nadal, after the resignation of the Balearic because of the health situation due to the coronavirus pandemic
Serbian Novak Djokovic, number one in world tennis, will participate in the Cincinnati tournament and in the US Open, the first Grand Slam of the year 2020, the Balkan announced this Thursday on his Twitter account.
“I am happy to confirm that I will be participating in #CincyTennis and the US Open this year,” wrote Djokovic. “It was not easy to make the decision, especially considering all the obstacles and challenges, but I am glad that I will be able to compete on the tennis court again,” said the tennis player.
