KOMPAS.com – Dean Henderson returns to Manchester United after his loan spell with Sheffield United has ended.

Henderson has already said goodbye to the club he defended for the last 2 seasons on Wednesday (19/8/2020).

Simultaneously, Sheffield also announced their new goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale, who was signed from Bournemouth.

Henderson clearly feels proud to be able to have a career at Sheffield United, given his impressive record as a goalkeeper to be able to bring the club promotion in the Premier League.

“I want to thank everyone at Sheffield United in the last two years,” Henderson was quoted as saying by BolaSport Daily Mirror.

“Bringing me promoted to the Premier League with my brother and having this season is something I will never forget.”

In status, Henderson will return to his parent club, Manchester United.

However, there has been no decision from Man United for Dean Henderson whether he will join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad for the 2020-2021 season or not.

Because Ole Gunnar Solskjaer once indicated Henderson’s desire to stay on loan at Sheffield United in June 2020.

Ole said the 23-year-old goalkeeper was not fit to replace De Gea as Manchester United’s number one goalkeeper.

“We need to make sure Dean plays football to improve, so we will make a decision later,” said Solskjaer.

“But he has the best goalkeeper in the world to show his place and for me, David is still developing and can still be even better,” he added.

Reported by BolaSport.com from Sky SportHenderson is currently in demand for at least 7 Premier League clubs if Solskjaer decides to loan him again for the 2020-2021 season.
