The Tour of Poland is definitely a cursed event. Mickaël Delage, the French cyclist for the Groupama-FDJ team, was caught in a fall during the third stage. The 35-year-old runner “was taken to hospital,” as his team said on his Twitter account. Before specifying: “He is conscious. We will give you more information tonight (Editor’s note: Friday) once it has taken x-rays ”. Delage was taken to the nearest hospital in Bielsko-Biała.
The Groupama-FDJ team is paying a heavy price on this Tour of Poland.
