Chelsea, Liverpool move to Leeds main goal

Chelsea and Liverpool are ready to bid for Brighton’s Ben White, while Arsenal are ready to seal a £ 30m sale once Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang signs a new deal, all in the news.

LIVERPOOL, CHELSEA BATTLE FOR THE WHITES

Liverpool and Chelsea will reportedly fight to sign Brighton defender Ben White this summer after the center-back’s loan spell at Leeds United.

The Daily Star says both teams are chasing the 22-year-old, who was an important part of the championship-winning Leeds team.

White was always present for Marcelo Bielsa’s outfit and the West Yorkshire team saw two offers for the center-back rejected.

Sky Sports says Leeds have seen £ 22m turned down by Brighton, who seems eager to enter an auction for White.

The paper says Liverpool are ready to make an opening offer of £ 20m, which will almost inevitably be turned down.

But Chelsea are ready to improve anything on the table.

Albion is believed to have put a £ 40 million price tag on the young man, who is under contract until June 2022.

Chelsea are eager to dump Antonio Rudiger to help finance a move for White.

however, the Daily mirror says they are also looking at Manchester City defender John Stones and are hoping to sign the 26-year-old England international for £ 20 million.
