According to former Blues defender Jason Cundy, Chelsea “could do with” having RB Leipzig center-back Dayot Upamecano in the back. The Frenchman has already attracted interest in the transfer from Arsenal, but has recently signed a new contract until 2023.
Upamecano earned huge praise from Thursday’s victory and Cundy joined the list of those raving about the 21-year-old.
And the expert believes it would be a good buy for Chelsea, who are in the defender market this summer.
