Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United | Dortmund claims that Sancho wants to go out with a public message

Several managers and players have expressed that they are happy that Sancho will stay in Dortmund, but the main character himself has remained silent.

After sports director Michael Zorc in Borussia Dortmund on Monday issued a public announcement that Jadon Sancho will remain at the club next season, several players have spoken and expressed joy over the decision, among them is Erling Braut Haaland.

The so-called “deadline” for a transfer to Manchester United has now been passed, so it seems that a transfer to the Premier League giant is far away for the 20-year-old.

Manchester United should not have met the Germans’ asking price of 110 million pounds.

– He will play for us next season. The decision has been made. “I think that answers all the questions,” Zorc told reporters during a news conference in Switzerland on Monday.

– Must go out in public

But even though both club leaders and teammates have spoken, it is still missing that the main character himself makes a statement. According to the newspaper The Times, this has caused more people in the German club to react.

Now the newspaper claims to have information that more people in Dortmund are putting pressure on Sancho.

The message should be clear: “He must go public to say that he will stay at the club next season.”

According to reports, the Germans want the Englishman to appear in either an interview or via the club’s own social media channels and tell the outside world that he is a Dortmund player, to put Manchester United rumors dead for this time.

Sancho rarely does interviews and the managers in Dortmund should be unsure whether he will agree to their desire to make a media appearance where he declares his loyalty to the club.

Several sources believe Manchester United still hope and believe that they can convince Dortmund to sell their star player.

Jan Åge Fjørtoft, Viasport reporter and expert on German football, has come up with another update about the game around Sancho.

In an update on Twitter, he believes that in order for Sancho to gain control of the situation, he is making a public statement.

– To have control – then you have to take control, writes Fjørtoft.

Teammate Haaland, who in January is also said to have been hunted by United, commented on the teammate’s situation after it became known that he will remain in Dortmund.

– He’s a phenomenal player. I’m very happy he’s staying. I am sure he can help me with a couple of assists and I a couple to him, Haaland said in an interview reproduced among others by the newspaper Bild.

– Love to play with this gang

On Wednesday, Dortmund played its first training match before the new Bundesliga season starts in September.

Sancho started in the 6-0 victory against SC Rheindorf Altach together with, among others, Haaland, the great talent Gio Reyna and the new signing Jude Bellinham.

After the match, Sancho spoke about the match.

– I love playing with this gang. There is a special group. We have some special young players on the way up. I’m very happy to share the path with them and show them the way. I was once in their shoes when I played with veterans. I’m happy on their behalf, Sancho said after the match.

The offensive midfielder would naturally not talk about a possible transfer. Agents and so-called intermediaries are still lurking behind the scenes and trying to find a solution to the former Manchester City player’s future.

Even after the training match, Haaland came to the press with some Sancho proposals.

– My friend showed good character, if you understand what I mean. Sancho still looks sharp, the Norwegian joked shoulder to shoulder with his teammate.

According to The Mirror, Manchester United should have put all other transfer tasks on hold to focus 100 percent on signing Jadon Sancho.

The newspaper claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjær and the rest of the management at Old Trafford have not given up hope of a transfer, so it may seem that the last word in the transfer saga has still not been said.
