Barcelona newcomer Francisco Trincao has been called up for the first time in the Portuguese squad for matches against Sweden and Croatia.
The 20-year-old, currently in Barcelona for pre-season training, joins Nelson Semedo on Fernando Santos’ side.
Portugal will face Croatia in Porto in the Nations League on 5 September and will head to Stockholm three days later.
Trincao arrived from Braga at the end of the season and will be officially presented at the Camp Nou on Wednesday as a Barcelona player.
