Alexandre Lacazette is set to join Atletico Madrid this summer should Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sign a new deal as expected.
Lacazette joined Arsenal from Lyon in the summer of 2017 but has been on the bench since coach Mikel Arteta’s arrival in December.
And should Aubameyang sign a new deal in the coming weeks, Lacazette, 29, could move to Spain and join Diego Simeone’s side for £ 30million Daily star.

The report describes that the French striker almost moved to Atletico in 2017 before the Spanish side was banned from transfers by FIFA.
Lacazette is also reportedly unhappy that Arteta is focusing its predominant plans on Aubameyang, particularly with young strikers on the periphery of the first team.
Both Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Martinelli have impressed in several places over the course of this season.
The Gunners’ potential signing of Free Agent Willian after his release from Chelsea also diminishes Lacazette’s chance to start consistently week after week.
But Lacazette started last week in the FA Cup final victory over the Blues, in which Aubameyang scored a match-winning double.
The Gabonese striker has less than 12 months’ contract and Arsenal risk losing their talisman captain for nothing next summer.
Aubameyang makes about £ 180,000 a week but wants more than £ 250,000 a week before considering extending his stay.

Arteta knows he’ll have to sell players this summer to generate the money it takes to land first-choice transfer targets – and he could even reload Hector Bellerin immediately if the player is made a sizable offer.
Sokratis, Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Sead Kolasinac as well as Shkodran Mustafi and Rob Holding, who have played a key role for Arteta in recent weeks, are also in the shop window.
The club are looking to sell Mesut Ozil too, but their hopes of dumping the former German playmaker and his £ 350,000 weekly salary seem slim after his agent insisted Ozil see the final season of his contract.
