Alaphilippe wins and wears yellow

(ADVANCE). The French Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck Quick Step) has won the second stage of the Tour de France, starting and finishing in Nice, of 186 kilometers, and has also donned the yellow leader’s jersey.

In a sprint between 3, Alaphilippe won with a time of 4h.55.27, ahead of the Swiss Marc Hirschi (Sunweb) and the British Adam Yates (Mitchelton Scott).

In the general classification, Alaphilippe takes command with 3 seconds ahead of Yates and 7 seconds ahead of Hirschi. This Monday the third stage will be held, between Nice and Sisteron, of 198 kilometers.
