Team news Chelsea v Watford

Chelsea: Willian is playing very well right now and will likely keep his place in the 11th.

Both Christian Pulisic and Andreas Christensen played midweek despite the doubts, so it could be a good 90 minutes back here.

Watford: Danny Welbeck made three of his four appearances this summer off the bench, but manager Nigel Pearson may decide to start the attacker on Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The boss has no new doubts about injuries, so expect Ismaila Sarr and Troy Deeney to be in the first IX. Craig Cathcart could get another 90 minutes of defense.

Our prediction: Chelsea v Watford

Chelsea were well placed to secure a place in the Champions League for the next term before their momentum was blocked by West Ham. In an offensive sense, they still created possibilities, but Lampard will have to strengthen defensive ranks.

Lampard has gotten the best of Pulisic and Willian in the past few weeks and the pair may be on hand to terrorize Watford’s defense here.

Tammy Abraham will be desperate for a goal to keep his right to the starting point. This should be a comfortable win for the Blues.

Our prediction: Chelsea 3-0 Watford
