Warriors could target these six reserve guards in the offseason

The Warriors still have a few tweaks to do before officially resuming their dynasty next season.

Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green will occupy four fifths of the first five. Kevon Looney, Marquese Chriss, Eric Paschall and Jordan Poole are expected to play key reserve roles. The Warriors will also have a choice of the top five coming soon and will have a $ 17.2 million trade exception to be used to add another veteran piece. But one of the Warriors’ top off-season priorities will be to play the leading guard role behind Steph Curry, reported Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

During the previous dynastic race of the Warriors, Shaun Livingston mainly occupied the role behind Curry, with Andre Iguodala also handling some of the head guard duties. But with Livingston enjoying retirement life and Iguodala in Miami, Steve Kerr needs to find a quality security guard to both enchant Curry and play alongside him.

Slater noted that Michael Carter-Williams could be an option for Warriors as they try to fill that void. But who else could be in the mix?
