Zham days were all Khamzat Chimaev needed to report as a real threat to the biggest stars of the UFC.
Chimaev made his UFC middleweight debut on Thursday July 16 against John Phillips.
The 26-year-old won with a second round submission after putting his helpless opponent through the blender. After the fight, he said he wanted to go back to the octagon on Fight Island.

Dana White listened and set it up with another shot – this time at its natural welterweight weight of 170 pounds – and Chimaev was even more impressive.
In the fastest turn in UFC history, Chimaev Rhys McKee missed a single goal on Sunday (AEST) when he clinched a 2-0 result in UFC in less than two weeks.
According to unofficial UFC statistics, Chimaev landed 68 goals against McKee in just over three minutes.
“I’ll smash everyone,” Chimaev said after the fight.
And the UFC world believes him.
Holy crap Chimaev ?! Khabib 2.0. The hype is real. @ufc

My word. Chimaev absolutely kills McKee. Must have scored 70 hits in total. He wins over TKO in the first.
I don’t think it’s difficult to say that he will be in the title fight very soon. Sure next year at this time. What a beast. Impressive.

Chimaev came to Abu Dhabi, attacked a few professional fighters in two weight classes and waited for his next assignment.
Dude * literally * has only a little sweat on her forehead, that’s it.
He is evil and I mean that as the highest compliment.

Chimaev has just won his second UFC fight in 10 days. This man is a terrible problem for the welterweight division # UFCFightIsland3
