The rumor mill continues to simmer for 1. FC Union Berlin. According to a report in the “kicker” HSV goalkeeper Julian Pollersbeck acted as a possible successor to Rafal Gikiewicz.
In addition to Max Kruse, another former VfL Wolfsburg player is also associated with Union. On Sunday, the “BZ” reported that Long-time Wolfsburg defender Robin Knoche could face a move to Köpenick after 15 years with the wolves.
Trainer Urs Fischer’s Berliners have a need in the defense chain, because the previous regular Keven Schlotterbeck returned to SC Freiburg after the end of his loan and veteran Michael Parensen ended his career after relegation.
