Sebastian Vettel is still looking for a seat before 2021 and the options for the Ferrari driver are becoming increasingly scarce. Red Bull CEO Helmut Marko is regularly asked whether the 32-year-old German is an option as a teammate of Max Verstappen. After all, Vettel won his four world titles from the energy drinks team.
“Sebastian is looking for a winning car for the coming season and that does not seem to be possible at Ferrari,” said Marko in a comment at Sport & Talk of the Austrian Servus TV. “But we have legally valid contracts with Max Verstappen and Alex Albon. Of course I sometimes talk to Sebastian, but only in a friendly way. We can’t give him hope for a seat.”
