There’s a soccer bomb in Washington coming up and it’s not the name

Deleting a nickname will not end Daniel Snyder’s problems.

Shortly after the owner of the Washington Redskins announced that his team would no longer be known by his current name, a series of cryptic tweets from local journalists emerged, warning of an impending bomb that would shake the franchise.

“The distorted and poisonous culture of the Washington football team is about to be disgustingly exposed. . . Again, ”wrote Jason La Canfora of CBS, a former team reporter.

Julie Donaldson of NBC Sports Washington also wrote: “What is coming is disappointing and sad.”

Although it is not clear what will appear, several other journalists have also been informed of news that could be devastating for the team.
