The way the Timberwolves would go on sale could impact Warriors

It appears that Glen Taylor cannot own the Minnesota Timberwolves for much longer.

The billionaire entrepreneur hired The Raine Group to sell his franchise, three people told Sportico’s Scott Soshnick.

This development is expected to interest Warriors fans worldwide because Golden State owns the first three protected from the first round protected by the 2021 of the Timberwolves (which is not protected in 2022).

And if Golden State doesn’t trade that activity this low season, Dub Nation will follow Minnesota’s 2020-21 season closely – with most agreeing that the Warriors end up with choice no. 4 in the NBA 2021 Draft as the best scenario.

Regarding some details about the potential transaction, Soshnick writes:

“There are several parties who have made an offer for the team, two people said. An agreement could be completed within a month, one of the people said … Taylor is seeking at least $ 1.2 billion for the franchise that Forbes says it’s worth $ 1.38 billion, said one of the people. “
