The first information about him got out earlier, but officially no word has been said about him yet. Nevertheless, it was this car that had already been wrecked in Monaco, by no one smaller than Adrian Sutil.

About a month ago, the world first learned about McLaren Senna LM. It is supposed to be a conversion of the GTR circuit design into a road model, a kind of tribute to the victory of the British carmaker in the legendary 24-hour race at Le Mans. The car was increased to 800 horsepower, lost glass panels in the doors, and customers were said to expect real gold in the engine compartment, which, like the McLaren F1, would serve as a heat shield.

Sparrows on the roof were chirping all this, but the British carmaker has not come up with an official presentation since then, so this car does not officially exist yet. However, it should be created in twenty-five copies, which, given the anniversary (McLaren F1 GTR dominated Le Mans in 1995), makes sense, especially when the brand could make much more money on it. The novelty should start somewhere around 50 million crowns, thanks to which the British could fill the company’s cash register a little more, which has been empty for several months.

But we turned a bit, so back to the car itself, which, despite its “non-existence” was to find its way to some customers. One of them is also to be the former Formula 1 driver Adrian Sutil, who more than tolerates fast road machines. In the past, he was seen behind the wheel of Pagani Huyar, Bugatti Veyron, Bugatti Chiron or several custom Ferraris. He also owned a Porsche Carrera GT modified by the tuning company Gemballa.

So Sutil has a lot of experience with fast cars, already by virtue of his profession. Nevertheless, it was he who was to take part in the collision, which will definitely not be one of the cheapest. In Monaco, the above-mentioned McLaren crashed Senna LM, which ended up stabbed in a pole. The car is still a long way from the total, but the whole bow, including the bottom, is a thing of the past. Fortunately, the four-liter eight-cylinder power unit is seated behind the passengers’ heads, so it was probably not damaged.

It is not certain exactly what happened. As well as whether Sutil was behind the wheel at all. However, we cannot imagine that such a precious car would be lent to anyone at all shortly after takeover. And since another car was part of the accident, it is quite possible that Sutil simply tried to avoid a collision with an inattentive driver and ended up in the wall himself. In the same way, however, he could only overestimate his abilities and step on the accelerator pedal too much.

The only thing that is certain is that the hitherto officially unveiled McLaren Senna LM already has its first accident on its account. Let’s hope that others will not follow, however many opportunities in the end will certainly be. The Lanzante company, which did not miss the Le Sarthe circuit in 1995, also intends to celebrate the legendary victory. At the same time, it will offer the LM 25 version, of which only seven pieces are to be created. But whether it will also be based on McLaren Senna is uncertain.
