The Big Four English League Tight, This Prediction of Rio Ferdinand

Jakarta

Except for Liverpool and Manchester City, the last two teams in the top four in the English League are still uncertain. Three teams will elbow each other for the two positions.

After 36 matches have passed, Liverpool and Man City have been confirmed to be champions and runners-up for the Premier League this season. Chelsea and Leicester City follow in 3-4 positions, but it’s still far from safe.

Chelsea, who have 63 points, are just one point away from Leicester and Manchester United. Leicester and MU on the other hand are only separated on goal difference.

The remaining two matches will determine who wins the last two rations of next season’s Champions League tickets. Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand predicts MU and Chelsea will be the two teams that qualify.

The consideration is the schedule of each team. Chelsea will indeed face a difficult match against Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Although Wolves are still trying to seal the Europa League tickets, Ferdinand estimates that Chelsea who will perform an all-out can pass their adangan. While Leicester is no less complicated because their opponents are Tottenham Hotspur and fellow big four hunters: MU.

Leicester’s situation is increasingly unfavorable because a number of mainstay players must be absent. James Maddison, Ben Chilwell, Christian Fuchs pulled over because of an injury, while Caglar Soyuncu was suspended.

MU is practically the most championed team to finish in the top four. The ‘Red Devils’ are doing well, unbeaten in 19 consecutive matches and that gives great confidence to face West Ham United and Leicester for the rest of the season.

“I first looked at each team’s schedule and thought Liverpool and Wolves, who were Chelsea’s opponents, would make them difficult,” Ferdinand told BT Sport, quoted Metro.

“But I think Chelsea will beat Wolves on the last day of the season, because there is something to pursue. And in my opinion, West Ham will benefit Man United.”

“I think that the pace of Man United, by the way they played so far, they are so bright at the moment and I just think that they will win the last two matches and certainly will qualify,” he added.
