Sexual violence in sport: “an independent authority should be able to investigate, treat, identify and follow up on victims”

The Minister of Sports has drawn up a first assessment of the work of the cell set up at the end of December and reinforced at the start of the year, after the sex scandals in the sports world. Forty federations are concerned by these cases which mainly affect (98%) minor victims at the time of the events and of which 78% of them are women, said the minister, during a press point.
