A golf ball bounces off the hole, even without the help of a foam spacer. Having said that, it is an out of tune show and a bad break that can throw even the best golfers in the world out of rhythm. But not Rickie Fowler.
During the opening round of the Workday Charity Open, Fowler hit what appeared to be a perfect approach shot on Muirfield Village’s third par 4 hole. His golf ball once jumped into the hole, only he didn’t stay there. To take a look:

But this story has a (somehow) happy ending. Fowler wiped out the disappointment of passing the ball from inside 10 feet away by rolling in the putt:
Well done, Rickie. It won’t go down like a rebound birdie in your official stats, but maybe it should.
