Representatives of Marcus Rashford hit back on Manchester United’s critics

Marcus Rashford officials have struck back claims that the striker is currently underperforming for Manchester United.

England international Rashford has been criticized for his accomplishments in recent weeks. The striker has had trouble finding his best form since returning from a serious injury. Rashford’s best performance since the restart was last week’s win over Crystal Palace, but then he fought against Chelsea and West Ham.

Rashford spent almost six months on the sidelines after suffering a double stress fracture in the back in January, but returned to United when the Premier League resumed last month.

The 22-year-old is enjoying his best season before scoring for United, but has only scored three goals since English football returned a month ago.

Rashford was poor in United’s 1-1 draw against West Ham on Wednesday night and after the game, former defender Patrice Evra criticized the striker for his performance.

“People very often comment on Paul Pogba in a lot of harsh words,” he said full-time. “I haven’t seen any harsh words about Marcus Rashford because Rashford had a bad game today.”

Rashford representatives, DN May Sports Management, have now taken up criticism and reaffirmed the seriousness of the injury he suffered earlier this year.

“Many spoke about Marcus’ fitness yesterday,” they tweeted on Thursday. “What is incredible is that I am certain that the boy will be fit again after a possibly career-related injury. United is a team that wins and loses together.”
