Defensive end Michael Onuoha won’t join the Ravens at training camp this week.
The Ravens announced they gave up Onuoha on Saturday.
Onuoha signed with the Ravens last year and suffered a wrist injury in the team’s opener. He returned to the practice squad in November and signed a future contract with the squad at the end of the regular season.
The move brought them down to 88 players, leaving them with eight more moves to make to reach the 80-player limit agreed to by the NFL and NFLPA last week. They can wait until August 16 to make these reductions if they work in separate shifts.
