Raiders take on four of the top 10 NFL runners in 2020

If you hope to be the best, you must beat the best. We know the Raiders will face the best quarterback in the NFL next season. And the runners?

NFL leaders voted on Thursday who they believe are the top ten defenders in the NFL. Josh Jacobs was ninth on this list. There were also four returners the Raiders will have to try to stop this season. But they are not the only talented rear. So let’s rank all the backs of the Raiders from 1 to 25, starting with the top four ranked by NFL leaders.

1. Christian McCaffrey, Panthers (2)

Although league leaders have ranked him as the second best ball carrier in the league behind Saquon Barkley, McCaffrey has a record for the best back in the league. He has just finished a season in which he had 2,392 yards and 19 touchdowns combined. And that earned him a huge salary.

2. Alvin Kamara, Saints (4)

Like McCaffrey, Kamara is a double threat. He has always been as much a weapon in the passing game as in the racing game. His 1,330 yards of scrimmage last season was actually a year behind him.

3. Nick Chubb, Browns (7)

Chubb’s 1,494 yards rushing was second in the league last season behind Derrick Henry. And he has on average more than five meters per race to do it. Honestly, the seventh seems too low for Chubb.
