Leeds [UK], July 13 (ANI): While admitting that the clash between the Champions League and Atalanta will be “very difficult”, Paris Saint Germain manager Thomas Tuchel said that at the moment it is not something that comes to mind.
In the Champions League quarter-finals, PSG is expected to face Atalanta next month in Lisbon. However, before that, the club will play the Coupe de France final against Saint-Etienne and the Coupe de la Ligue decision maker against Lyon.
“It will be difficult but it is not a surprise because we will play a quarter-final. There are eight teams who want to win this competition. Each team can win their three games,” said Goal.com quoting Tuchel.
“It will be a very difficult game [against Atalanta], it will be very difficult. They have many qualities. We saw it when they played against Juventus [on Saturday]. It is a balanced and offensive team. It is a very physical team. But now, we can’t think about it. Our challenge is to get to Lisbon with two titles, “he added.
Tuchel insisted that his part will move “step by step”.
“Now we will prepare our game against Saint-Etienne. It is the only game I have in mind right now. So, we will think of Lyon. So I think we will have 12 days to prepare for our game against Atalanta. We have to take a step. at a time. The first step will be our game against Saint-Etienne, “he said. (ANI)
