Seven years after his first success on the PGA Tour (at the Honda Classic 2013), Michael Thompson returns to victory. 2,702 days later, the 35-year-old American won the 3M Open with a total score of 265 (-19) and a final card of 67 (-4). Here he is qualified for the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational which starts Thursday in Memphis (July 30-August 2) and for the USPGA (August 6-9 at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco), but also for the US Open. (September 17-20) and for the Masters 2021 and the PLAYERS Championship 2021. After playing 63 on Saturday, Adam Long took second place in the 3M Open with an equally solid 64 (-7). He finished two lengths behind Thompson (-17). Nine golfers take third place at -16.
