According to the league’s deal thread, the Panthers have called for waivers on linebacker Kyahva Tezino. He had been cut by the Patriots on Sunday.
The San Diego state linebacker signed with the Patriots in April, but was part of their cuts to reach 80 so they didn’t have to operate camp in a divided team situation.
The Panthers have six undrafted rookie linebackers on the roster now, and there’s a chance they won’t all make it onto the field.
