OT Nate Wozniak apparently withdraws from NFL

The New York Giants are, apparently, at another offensive tackle.

Albert Breer posted an update to the NFL’s COVID-19 test results and reserve offensive tackle Nate Wozniak appeared on the list. However, he does not appear to join WR David Sills IV on the COVID-19 list, but is instead listed as a “reserve / retiree”.

The Giants’ starting offensive line was overhauled by Nate Solder’s decision to step down from the 2020 season. And while Wozniak was not considered a starting contender, there was an opportunity for him to earn a role as substitute.

Wozniak signed a reserve / future deal with the Giants for the 2020 season after spending time on the training teams of the New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons and Giants. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent after playing the tight end for Minnesota and converting to tackle after the 2018 NFL Draft.
