Serial killer Joey Leilua couldn’t help when a dog shot at Penrith’s full-back Dylan Edwards lit a fire at Bankwest Stadium on Saturday night.
In the last few minutes, and after the Panthers had essentially sewn the win, Leilua Edwards inexplicably slapped the head when none of the players had the ball.
It was a dog shot – no two options – and Leilua rightly aroused the anger of the Panthers players who rushed in to defend their full-back.
“It’s just crap. He just can’t control his temperament, ”said Braith Anasta in a Fox comment.
Leilua was sinful, but the fight didn’t end there.
Edwards was hit again, this time by Luke Garner, and players from both sides struggled.
The referee stopped the game and sent the players to cool down.
Earlier that night the Penrith hooker Api Koroisau caught Luciano Leilua with a high shot, which was knocked down and eventually carried off the field.
And while he was lying on the lawn that was being examined, Joey went over to check on his little brother.

But he wasn’t interested when Koroisau came to Luciano to apologize for his high shot.
Joey pushed Koroisau away, causing the Panthers rake to pay back, and then a few other players came in to get involved.
Fortunately, James Tamou and some other panthers were able to cool the situation down before it could escalate further.
