The deregistrations of former Bulldogs players Jayden Okunbor and Corey Harawira-Naera were canceled in the appeal process.
The couple received the ax from the Bulldogs and had ended their registration earlier this year after a breach of the NRL’s Code of Conduct at Port Macquarie.

As a result of their successful appointment, the couple have now been given adjusted penalties.
Okunbor has been suspended for 14 games and must pay a $ 22,500 fine, seek advice, and do community work.
Harawira-Naera has been suspended for 10 games and fined $ 15,000.

Both penalties are considered retroactive, which means the upcoming Harawira-Naera biosecurity protocols can be played for free next week.
The earliest available okunbor is round 15.
The dogs released a statement saying that they were talking to the NRL about how the couple could return to the club.
“The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs were informed by the NRL of the outcome of the appeal process for Corey Harawira-Naera and Jayden Okunbor this afternoon,” the Bulldogs said.
“We are now working with the NRL to determine how this process will be implemented and are waiting for further advice from the NRL in the next phase.
“We will release another update as soon as we have more information.”
Meanwhile, Andrew Abdo, Acting CEO of NRL, said he was disappointed with the verdict.
“The NRL has taken the measures it deemed necessary in the face of serious violations of the Code of Conduct – violations that the Appeals Committee also classified as serious,” he said.
“The Independent Appeals Committee has taken a different view of the penalty players can expect, and although we are disappointed, we respect the result.”
