Brodie Croft had tears in her eyes three weeks ago after his Broncos collapsed for a sixth consecutive loss.
After three games, the Brisbane half laughed and joked with their former teammates from Melbourne, immediately after they beat the Broncos 46-8.
The contrast was annoying and left some Brisbane fans horrified by his behavior.

After the game, Croft introduced the cameras and, given the horror scoreline, gave a surprisingly positive opinion of the game.
He told Fox League: “We really thought we had a good shot tonight and we went into the shed very positively and energetically at half-time.
“I thought we really messed them up, especially in the middle of the first 20.
“We just have to expand this performance further and we will do well. We will definitely do well.
“We had some good steps in the right direction tonight, especially in the first half. I definitely have to build on this second half. We will come back stronger next week. “
His optimism raised a lot of eyebrows, and a fan joked on Twitter: “Some positive steps in the right direction” Brodie Croft highlighted their improvements, as they only lost 38 at tonight, not 48.

When Croft and a few teammates let their emotions run dry – in tears – after the disappointing loss to the Warriors, they were widely praised for their passion.
But footage of him laughing and smiling with his former Storm teammates long after most of his team ran off the field had some fans accusing him of emotional insincerity and shedding “crocodile tears”.
One tweeted: “Brodie Croft smiles and laughs with old teammates. Bronco’s fans must love to see that. “

It only adds to some fans’ requests last week to drop Croft. As this fan wrote after his 0:48 loss to the Tigers, “I never want to see Brodie Croft in a Broncos jersey again.”
