LeBron James has finally regained his throne … well.
On Tuesday, James held a virtual interview session with reporters as preparations for the NBA season begin in the Disney World bubble.
Almost immediately, screenshots of LeBron’s setup were posted on social media, with NBA fans jokingly pointing out that it looked like he had blown his own throne to conduct interviews.
LeBron said he needed a lower chair before his interview. Said by @LakersReporter that it looked a bit like a throne, LeBron chuckled and said, “Absolutely not. It’s one of those hall chairs everyone sits on.” pic.twitter.com/oZRVO1HBiB

Lakers defeated reporter Mike Trudell for the first time during the interview, LeBron told LeBron that the chair looked like a royal throne for the king of basketball.
“Absolutely not. It’s one of those hall chairs everyone sits on,” LeBron laughed back.
Minutes later, Frank Vogel was in front of the camera for his interview, this time in a different chair.
It was a lot smaller.
“Aw, they took away the throne,” joked LeBron.
One can say with certainty that the accidental accident immediately went viral.
Before the season started, Kendrick Perkins chose Giannis Antetokounmpo ahead of LeBron as his choice for the MVP.
“I sent him a text and said it. “Look, man, I’ve got Giannis in front of you,” Perkins said The athlete.
“And then he wrote back to me and said, ‘Oh, don’t worry, I’ll take back my throne.'”
The NBA has decided not to include seeding games in the race for this season’s MVP prize, which takes place between LeBron and Giannis.
Giannis had an incredible season with an average of 29.6 points and 13.7 rebounds before shutting down, while shooting 54.7 percent off the ground.
LeBron was the leader in the Lakers’ efforts to get a shot at the NBA title. He led the league with 10.6 assists, scored 25.7 points per game and shot 49.8 percent off the ground.
The general consensus is that LeBron may have to wait another year to regain his throne with Giannis to receive the highest individual award.
But Hall of Famer Magic Johnson told ESPN’s The Jump earlier this week that LeBron could claim the honor.
AllHall of Famer alarm ????
Magic Johnson, Tracy McGrady and Scottie Pippen have a full conversation with me about #TheJump: We’re talking about the restart in Orlando, who should win MVP (they’re split) and who of the three would win in a HORSE game. pic.twitter.com/py0srv56f1– Rachel Nichols (@Rachel__Nichols), July 27, 2020
“LeBron influences the game in so many different ways, and this year he’s averaging almost a triple-double,” said Johnson.
“And when you think about how he played defense and, last but not least, how he was an incredible leader.
“He really brought these guys together and kept them going. LeBron itself is also on a mission. “
