Moto2 Jerez, Luca Marini’s imperial triumph; 2. Nagashima

This is how Luca Marini imposes himself in the Moto2 Spanish GP, on the hot track of Jerez de la Frontera. The pilot of the Sky team, at the fourth victory, in his career and in the category, confirms the excellent state of form revealed throughout the weekend and wins in front of the Japanese Testuta Nagashima, the world leader, who in the end tried in vain to mend the detachment without ever bothering him, and Jorge Martin, also on the Kalex of the Red Bull Ajo team. Fantastic performance for Marini, who seems to have entered the right size to aim for the big target of the title.

The race was very linear: at the start the poleman Jorge Martin started well on Aron Canet and Luca Marini, while Jorge Navarro fell. While Luca Marini takes the lead and then off, his partner Marco Bezzecchi passes Martin and then thwarts everything by sliding to turn 10.
