Mitchelton-Scott takes team manager from Bahrain-McLaren during corona stop | Cycling

A striking transfer in cycling country, not from a rider but from a team manager. Brent Copeland will leave Bahrain-McLaren and will become General Manager of Mitchelton-Scott in the second part of the season. The realignment comes after the Australian team saw a deal with a Spanish investor jump off.

The soap around the possible arrival of new investors is still reverberating at Mitchelton-Scott. General manager Shayne Bannan has to leave and the Australian team brought two new men on board: Darch McQuaid and Brent Copeland, the latter coming from Bahrain-Merida.

Copeland is already starting his new job today and will therefore manage part two of this corona season for the Australian team.
