And now Arteta, whose Arsenal team has become the last to attempt to slow Traore, has identified the former Barcelona man as a serious threat, claiming that he can unlock a game at any time.
“I always saw incredible potential when he could evolve certain areas of his game that he was unstoppable at times to play at,” said Arteta.
“When he gets the serve at the right times and isolates himself, he is a player who is so difficult to defend and is constantly demonstrating it right now – something [which] for a very talented player it is not easy to do. “
He added: “They connect very well with each other, their understanding, the movement, the patterns they have are a big threat. I think the way Raul is settled in the country and the player he has become is because of the structure that has on the team created by his manager and the players around him.
He added: “Adama, I have known him since I was in Barcelona, he is a player who can open the door at any time in the game.”
