Dortmund superstar Jadon Sancho remains a top goal for Manchester United this summer despite Mason Greenwood’s extraordinary form on the right flank.

The eighteen year old made his right position forward from the Restart project and scored three goals in four appearances for the Red Devils since the return of the competition.

Greenwood is said to have accumulated around three kilograms of muscle during the three-month hiatus and that his two goals against Sheffield United on Saturday led Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to describe the teenager as the best finisher he has ever worked with.

The teenager’s doubles brought United’s top three to Greenwood, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford to 50 goals in all competitions and there are promising signs that the trio clicked together.

With Greenwood doing the right part, Solskjaer must be careful to stop the flourishing collaborations that occur in his attack, particularly in a summer when transfer fees are expected to collapse.

However, the Evening Standard reports that Solskjaer remains passionate about Sancho and is willing to break that front three by signing the Dortmund ace.

The giants of the Bundesliga want about £ 100 million for Sancho and have warned the suitors that there will be no “discount on the coronavirus”.

Reports recently said that United was willing to pay only around £ 50 million for Sancho and while that figure is out of the mark, the Red Devils are not expected to beat the club’s transfer record this summer to sign the 20-year-old.

United will therefore test Dortmund’s determination in the negotiations and believe that Sancho’s desire to move to the Theater of Dreams will help their offer.

Solskjaer believes that Greenwood has at least two years to become a regular owner and has promised to handle the attacker’s minutes.

Greenwood was the center forward emerging from the United academy, but was played on the right flank while Solskjaer takes him into men’s football.
