Olot and Llagostera can now take a step forward with the planning of the 2020-21 season. The Second B teams had to wait until yesterday to know the start date of the League, which will begin next weekend of July 26 and 27. Based on this, they will be able to predict the preseason.
Depending on the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic, the Spanish Federation announced yesterday its intention to start the season on the last weekend of September and should soon rule on the proposed calendar, the new format for the bronze category and group composition. For weeks the Garrotxins had been demanding the pronouncement by the RFEF, taking into account that the other categories already knew the start dates and in Second B they were the only ones who could not move forward with the design of the new campaign. For its part, Llagostera was also awaiting this response in order to set the date of the preseason.

The RFEF did not explain, however, what the schedule, groups or format of the competition will be like. Without relegation, the Second B will consist of 100 teams and five groups of 20 are expected, each divided into two subgroups of 10.
