Peter Moore has considered his time as Liverpool CEO.
He said to the club’s official website: “I loved every minute of the job here in Liverpool and feel privileged to have advanced the club in its civil, commercial and community activities over the past three years. It was an incredible journey and I would like to thank John, Tom and Mike for giving me the opportunity to run the business in Liverpool.
“I had the great pleasure of working with an exceptionally talented management team. a group of dedicated colleagues who work tirelessly for the club; former players; Business, community and citizen partners and sponsors; Incredible supporters around the world and so many other people that I’ve met through my role as CEO. I am indebted to so many people I met on this fantastic trip to Liverpool.
“To think we won the UEFA Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup and now the Premier League title during my time here is far beyond my dreams. It was a phenomenal feat by managers, players and employees. The team deserves praise and recognition – and the memories that I will keep forever. “
