Lewis Hamilton set another F1 driver who has never made a record page all

KOMPAS.com – Formula 1 racer from England, Lewis Hamilton, recorded a record after winning the Styria GP which took place at the Red Bull Ring Circuit, Spielberg, Austria, Sunday (07/12/2020).

Quoted from F1, the victory at the Sytria GP made Lewis Hamilton a racer who always managed to record a victory in every season he followed.

Hamilton has been active in F1 since 2007. The 2020 season is the 14th season for the Mercedes racer competing in the land jet racing event.

This record that Hamilton made has never been made by any other racer.

Hamilton is aiming for the seventh world champion, which will make him match the achievement of F1 legend Michael Schumacher.

In terms of the number of wins, Hamilton has recorded 85 times to rule the podium.

He only needs six more wins to equal the record of victories held by Schumacher (91).

As for the number of podiums, Hamilton only needed three podiums to match the achievements made by Schumacher (152 versus 155).

At the Sytria GP, Hamilton managed to finish first, followed by his team mate, Valtteri Bottas (Finland), followed by Red Bull rider Max Verstappen (the Netherlands).

Hamilton is now ranked second in the standings with 37 points.

Bottas tops the position with 43 points.

The third position is occupied by the British racer from the McLaren team, Lando Norris, with 26 points.

After the victory at GP Sytria, Hamilton praised his team’s performance.

“I’m very grateful to be back on the first podium. It’s been a very long time to be champions again after the last race last year,” Hamilton said.

F1 2020 racing season will continue in Hungary on July 19 this weekend.
