Four months after their last match against Dortmund on March 11, the Parisians will replay this Sunday. At 7 p.m., at the Océane stadium, they face Le Havre (Ligue 2) for a first friendly match.
After resuming training on June 22, Thomas Tuchel’s men prepared for the Camp des Loges. This Sunday, a group of 24 players took the road to Normandy. All the executives of the group will be present, Neymar and Mbappé at the head. Young Kays Ruiz, 17, and Arnaud Kalimuendo will also make the trip. Three players will remain at home: Abdou Diallo in recovery phase after his back surgery, Juan Bernat and Layvin Kurzawa spared.
As a reminder: Cavani, Meunier and Kouassi have left the club, their contract not having been extended.
While Le Havre coach Paul Le Guen has announced that he will field two different teams in each period, Thomas Tuchel has not yet delivered his method. He should however offer playing time to his typical team given the low number of meetings before the Final 8 of the Champions League which will start with the quarter-final against Atalanta Bergamo on August 12. For the time being, three friendly meetings are scheduled: Le Havre, the Belgians of Waasland-Beveren on July 17 and the Scots of Celtic Glasgow on July 21. Then will come the final of the Coupe de France against Saint-Etienne on July 24 and that of the Coupe de la Ligue against Lyon on July 31.
5000 people are expected for a match which will take place with strict sanitary measures.
