“Neptuna” sports director Daiņi Vaitelis confirms in the columns of the website that he has signed a contract with coach Tomas Gaidamavičs, who has been an assistant coach since 2017 and coached the club’s doubles until 2023, but his assistants will also be Buškevics.

“The contract is long-term, because we really believe in Gaidamavič. For so many years, he has worked successfully in Neptuna’s doubles, and the results were very good,” says Vaitelis in a conversation with the Internet portal. “To date, I have not seen any coach work better with youth.

In addition, fitness trainer Laurīns Gendvils will also move from the Neptune doubles to the main team, but Sandis Buškevics will continue to work as an assistant. Really very good team. It will be a good job. “

The Klaipeda team will also start in the FIBA ​​Champions League qualification next season.

For Buškevics, who is 43 years old, this will be the second season in Klaipeda club.
