Kansas City Chefs Revise 2020 Season Ticket Plans

In light of the coronavirus crisis, the NFL is issuing guidelines to all teams. These guidelines set certain standards for changing stadiums and reducing its carrying capacity. Kansas City chefs developed a plan that promised more flexibility and benefits for members of the season pass in 2020.

It turns out that the club cannot reinstall all those who bought a subscription, due to a limited number of seats. The idea is that season subscribers will have their 2020 payment credited for the 2021 season.

This means that they will have access to a single game presale for all seats available in 2020. However, this is only possible once the franchise has decided on the final capacity.

Members of the season pass (STM) will also receive their STM boxes with exclusive gifts. In addition, prices will remain stable for 2021.

What if the Kansas City chefs are entitled to a full capacity crowd?

In such a scenario, especially during the elimination phases, the STMs without reimbursement have priority to buy their places. Kansas City chiefs president Mark Donovan has recognized that everyone must adapt to the current situation.

He admitted that they would have liked to see a full stadium, especially since they were defending the Super Bowl title. However, he knows that fans, employees, coaches and the health and safety of players take priority over everything.

Unfortunately, the stadium is unable to accommodate all members of the season pass. In addition, they cannot account for everyone who bought tickets for a game.

In light of this, the club works alongside the NFL, the University of Kansas health care system, Populous and local authorities and public health experts. Their top priority is to keep fans, staff, coaches and players safe.

All aspects of the experience for the coming season – including parking, tailgating, guest service, food and beverage, retail and stadium operations – are being evaluated and will be announced before the start of the season.
