Jack Grealish responds to Manchester United’s transfer links after Aston Villa defeated Arsenal

Jack Grealish says he is not too sure of what his future holds.

Manchester United want to sign Aston Villa’s star after an impressive season in the Premier League for his youth club.

Tottenham Hotspur has also been linked to the 24 year old, but United is the favorite to sign it.

Grealish played a key role in Villa’s 1-0 victory over Arsenal which raised their hopes of survival and, after the match, Sky Sports asked Sky Sports if it was his last game in claret and blue.

The midfielder admitted that he did not know what his future was, but that he focused on the survival of Villa’s Premier League.

“I’m not too sure at the moment,” he said.

“I have a goal and to keep this club in the Premier League.

“This whole stadium and its fan base know where we belong.

“So that’s all I’m thinking about right now, keeping this club in the Premier League, and we hope we can do it on Sunday.”

A fan of Villa as a boy, Grealish says that keeping the club in the Premier League would have been a proud achievement.

He said, “It would mean everything to me.

“Since we returned, I have probably not been more effective than before.

“Pressure is a privilege, my old coach told me.

“Since we came back, I probably haven’t felt as fit as before the break, but it’s not an excuse.

“I just have to do what I know I can do and I think I did it today, I was unlucky not to receive assistance in the end.”
