How to watch the NBA 2020 season restarted without cable

After a four-month delay for the coronavirus, the NBA program will resume on July 30th with 22 teams playing eight games to end the regular season. Play-in tournaments are scheduled for August 15-16 with playoffs starting August 17.

Which teams will play?

How to watch games nationwide

Many of the games will be broadcast nationwide on ABC, ESPN, NBA TV and TNT.

  • YouTube TV carries ABC, ESPN, TNT and NBA TV
  • Sling TV Orange carries NBA TV with the Sports Extra, ESPN and TNT add-on
  • Hulu with Live brings ABC, ESPN and TNT
  • fuboTV carries NBA TV with the Sports Plus add-on with ABC and ESPN arriving on August 1st
  • AT&T TV now carries ABC, ESPN, TNT and NBA TV
  • Vidgo carries ABC and ESPN

How to watch local games

Most of the games will be aired on regional sports networks. Hulu with Live TV offers most RSNs, including Fox Sports networks. Only a few RSNs are not available on Hulu. Houston Rockets fans can watch AT&T Sportsnet Southwest on fuboTV or with the AT&T TV Max package. Lakers fans can watch Spectrum Sportsnet and Utah Jazz while they can watch Sportsnet Rocky Mountain with the AT&T TV Now Max package.
