Jon Rahm’s first two rounds as world number 1 will be played alongside Bryson DeChambeau and Rickie Fowler.
Rahm, DeChambeau and Fowler highlight the groups featured this week at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, which begins Thursday at the TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee.
It will be Rahm’s first start since the 25-year-old Spaniard reached number 1 in the world for the first time since his victory two weeks ago at the Memorial Tournament. DeChambeau missed the cut at Muirfield Village, taking a series of seven straight finishes of T-8 or higher. Fowler has 12 top-10s in 29 WGC starts, but has lost five of his last nine cuts during the Tour.
The other featured groups are: Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth and Webb Simpson; Brooks Koepka, Patrick Reed and Viktor Hovland; and Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa and Hideki Matsuyama.
The shares of the featured groups on Thursday and Friday will be streamed from noon to 7:00 pm ET on PGA Tour Live.
Koepka is the defending champion and will also defend the PGA championship next week. However, the number 6 in the world, playing for the fourth consecutive week, has switched to MC, T-62, MC in his last three starts.
