F1, Hungarian GP: live-live

PRE GARA

The Formula 1 Circus moved to Hungary after two weeks in Austria, where the Mercedes showed an incredible showdown. Even on the very technical circuit of the Hungaroring the script was the same, with Hamilton and Bottas proving to be the fastest on the track. At the moment, the duel for the world title could be an internal matter between the two team mates, with the Finn at the top of the standings (43 points) followed by Hamilton (37 points) and a surprising Lando Norris (26 points).

Qualifying saw Hamilton take pole position number 90 in his career, right in front of Bottas. Also impressive is the pace of the Racing Points, powered by Mercedes, which occupy the second row with Stroll and Perez. Ferrari, after a disastrous Styrian GP, recovers placing the two cars in the third row, while Red Bull disappoints, only seventh with Max Verstappen and even thirteenth with Alex Albon. The Thai driver already seems to be under pressure, with several rumors that would like Sebastian Vettel to return to the Austrian team, to the detriment of the young talent. Williams’ qualifying was very positive, which for the first time since 2018 has managed to pass Q3 with both cars.
