The Eagles traded for Marquise Goodwin this offseason, but it will be at least a year before we see him on the field.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Goodwin is withdrawing from the 2020 season due to COVID-19 issues.

He and his wife just welcomed a girl into their family in February after multiple attempts to start a family ended in tragedy, making it hard to challenge his desire to protect that family.

The Eagles needed the speed he provided, given DeSean Jackson’s uncertain status and Alshon Jeffery’s return from a foot injury.
