Oklahoma State football star Chuba Hubbard says he closes his Twitter account after receiving a backlash after calling the Oklahoma County District Attorney … but the RB insists that he will continue to use his platform to push for social justice.
The 21-year-old Hubbard – one of the best college traffic jams in the country – challenged DA David Prater resigned on Monday after claiming the guy “exceeded his position”.
Hubbard, along with many others in Oklahoma, is upset about Prater – they think Prater should have filed charges against police officers who killed the 17-year-old Isaiah Lewis in a tragic attempted arrest in 2019.
But when Prater released the officials, people protested … and when the demonstrators were finally arrested for expressing outrage, Prater’s office hit her with terrorism charges.
This didn’t go well with Hubbard, who fired a series of tweets criticizing the guy for the moves.
“OK’s district attorney, David Prater, is using his power as an elected official to terrorist and $ 1 million bail-out protesters,” said Hubbard. “This is unacceptable.”
But Hubbard’s tweets met with violent backlashes from the popular app … and on Tuesday Chuba said he had canceled his Twitter account so that people could not let go of their hatred of him.

“I have never instigated or encouraged violence or hatred,” said Hubbard. “I only gave my opinion on topics that I don’t consider ethical! I love everyone! Even those that I don’t see eye to eye!”
“I will continue to play football at the highest level! It will never stop! But I will not stop pushing for what I think is right !!!! With these words, I noticed that my social media did this . ” become a playground for hate. This is the last thing I ever wanted! “
Hubbard continued: “You will hear me. You will see me. You will feel me. But until further notice not on Twitter or other social networks! Everyone loves Chuba RMN.”
Chuba was one of the loudest athletes in the struggle for social justice George Floyd‘s death … he was the one who famously forced OSU trainer Mike Gundy I apologize for wearing an OAN shirt last month.
