Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner are now officially Chelsea players.
Morocco’s € 40 million (£ 33.4 million) international move from Ajax, which could potentially increase to a maximum of € 44 million, was agreed shortly after the January transfer window closed.
Meanwhile, the Blues have won the game for Werner ahead of Liverpool and Manchester United triggering the £ 47.5 million release clause in his contract with RB Leipzig.

Both offers were concluded on July 1st 2020 and can begin training with their new teammates.
Although neither team has yet been assigned a team number and it could be a case of waiting until the end of the season before the matter is addressed.
This is because Werner – who wore no. 11 for Leipzig – he could wait for Pedro to complete his transfer to Rome and Ziyech could wait for Willian to release the jersey n. 10.

Currently vacant following the transfer of Victor Moses’ loan to Fenerbahce in early 2019.
Since then, the Nigerian has moved to Inter for the rest of the season and could have earned a permanent contract with the giants of Serie A.

The number 16 could be a potential option for a new signature with Kenedy on loan once again.

Davide Zappacosta’s loan transfer to AS Roma was interrupted by an injury, but his team number at Bridge is currently vacant.

Although shirt no. 25 has not been officially withdrawn from the club, it seems that Chelsea do not want anyone to face the famous number of Gianfranco Zola.
Leaving for his home country in 2003, nobody in the club has worn the shirt since the Italian master left over a decade ago.

As in the case of shirt no. 25, the n. John Terry’s 26 could be left free after his trophy load spell at Stamford Bridge.
