“Chelsea” beat the other London team “Crystal Palace” with the result 3: 2 (2: 1).

Already in the sixth minute of the game, after Viljanna’s pass, Olivier Žirū reached 1: 0 from the goal area. In the 27th minute, assisting Viljanas again, Kristians Pulišičs doubled the visitors’ distance.

Seven minutes later, Wilfried Zaha recovered one goal with an excellent long shot.

In the second half, Rubens Loftuss-Čīks dropped the ball to Temijam Abrahamam after 71 minutes. However, in the next minute, “Crystal Palace” played to an empty goal, with Christian Bentek achieving 2: 3.

Prior to this round, Leicester City was in third place, battling for the away draw 1: 1 (0: 1) with London’s Arsenal.

The Londoners were the first to score on the scoreboard, ahead of the opponents’ defenders in the 21st minute by Pierre Emerik Obamejang, who after a quick attack sent the ball into the goal and reached 1: 0.

Aleksandrs Lakazets also scored the ball in the middle of the second half, but due to the back, “Arsenal” did not double their advantage. The home team’s fans were upset when, after 75 minutes, the visiting Edvards Nkeitā broke through the central defense and kicked the ball past the keeper.

The Leesteras players could smell victory in the air. Jamie Vārdija tied the game at 1 – 1 after 84 minutes, when he converted an incredible pass from the right. City saved one point, but it wasn’t enough to hold third place.

The two best snipers in the Premier League stood out in this match – Vārdijs scored 22 goals this season, but Obamejang has two less.

Elsewhere, in an important match for staying at home in the Premier League, Watford played Norwich’s City 2: 1 (1: 1). The winner of the winning goal, Denny Velbeck, became only the fourth football player to compete in the Premier League for the last ten consecutive seasons.
