Chelsea delivered a daunting Declan Rice transfer price, but two players could be used in the exchange | Football | Sport

West Ham has reportedly told Chelsea that it will not leave Declan Rice to leave the club unless their £ 65 million rating is met. However, the Blues are hoping to include two players in the deal to reduce the cash outlay.

Chelsea are spending a lot this summer with over 80 million pounds already paid out on Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.

Another £ 90m could be spent on Bayer Leverkusen’s versatile midfielder Kai Havertz, with personal terms apparently already agreed.

Frank Lampard then wants to strengthen his defense with a new left-back and center-center.

Leicester ace Ben Chilwell has been identified as the main target to take over from Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri.

The Guardians say Chelsea want to sign their former Rice academy graduate again to plug a hole in the heart of their defense.

The 21-year-old was released from the West Londonders Academy in 2013 and became a titular midfielder in the Premier League.

However, in Rice’s younger years he often operated as a central defender and that’s where Lampard sees his long-term future.

But West Ham won’t let their rising star go cheap and sue their London rivals £ 65 million.

Werner’s arrival will further reduce the Belgian’s involvement and a move to the London stadium could be an appeal.

But that may be because of David Moyes and whether he wants to accept losing a future club captain.
